LOUIS HENRI THORIMBERT Louis Henri Thorimbert passed away on June 16, 2001. Louis was born on January 13, 1914 in Notre Dame De Lourdes, MB. He moved to Los Angeles, CA in 1957, where he joined the Local 501 Union of Operating Engineers and worked for them until retirement in 1977. Louis was a loving man and much loved father, grandfather and great-grandfather, who will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 48 years, Rolande. A brother Auguste Thorimbert, and sisters, Yvonne Poitras and Alice Grenier, all of Manitoba survive him. As well as his children, Marcel Thorimbert, Yvette and Jose Morales, Gisele and Jesse Applin, and George and Debra Thorimbert, all of California. Louis was blessed with eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Louis was buried at Rose Hill Cemetery on Thursday, June 21 in the presence of many family members and friends who loved him and whom he loved in return.
