MARCIA CAMERON It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Marcia Kathleen Joyce Cameron (nee McEwen) on Thursday, July 19, 2001. Predeceased by her father Hugh, she is survived by her loving husband and soul mate of more than 37 years, Colin; her two children Craig and Leigh; her mother Eileen; her younger brother Don; and her only grandchild Cayla Rae. Marcia was born on July 2, 1939 in Winnipeg, MB. Marcia graduated from the University of Manitoba with a Bachelor of Interior Design where she received the bronze medal for her thesis. Colin and Marcia wed on September 5, 1964 and moved to Vancouver from Winnipeg that same year. After several years in interior design, Marcia pursued a new challenge. So in 1976, she got her real estate license and has been selling real estate on the North Shore for the past 25 years. All those who had the pleasure of knowing Marcia would agree that she had passion for being creative. Beginning with her flower t-shirts, she expanded her talents into pottery, plates, and of course, her beautiful hand-painted glasses. May her adventurous spirit, her love and generosity be remembered by all those lives she touched. The memorial service will be held on Friday, July 27 at 2:00 p.m. at First Memorial Funeral Services, 1505 Lillooet Road, North Vancouver. In lieu of flowers, donations in Marcias memory, made to the BC Heart and Stroke Foundation, would be greatly appreciated.
