DAWN AURORE MIRIAME COOKE (nee AYOTTE) Suddenly, but peacefully at her home on Sunday, August 5, 2001 Dawn passed away at the age of 50. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband Devon and her son Ivan Raymond; sisters, Evelyn Valcourt (Claude), Claudette McClelland (Greg), and Gisele Normandeau (Gilles) brothers, Robert, Rolly (Cindy), and Gabriel (Debbie) as well as many nieces, nephews and good friends. Dawn was born in Morris, MB on May 19, 1951. Her laughter and her sense of humour helped her make the best of life. She was a very giving person, strong willed with deep faith in God. She is now safe in her Saviors arms along with mom and dad. Dawns family wishes to thank Dr. A. DeRocquigny for his kind and compassionate care. Donations may be made to Manitoba Lung Association, or Heart and Stroke Foundation, or Canadian Mental Health Association. A memorial service will be held in the chapel of Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. (south of the Royal Canadian Mint) on Thursday, August 9 at 3:00 p.m. Interment Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. A gathering of family and friends will follow in the Glen Lawn Reception Centre. Dear Dawn We didnt say goodbye! We didnt realize Youd leave us so soon! We wish we could Have done something To alleviate your pain! We know that you are Now in a better place, Where there is no more pain. Well miss your laughter And your bright eyes!
