MARY GLADYS RAW (nee WEEDMARK) Our loving mother and grandmother, Mary Gladys Raw, aged 88 passed away, Thursday, August 9, 2001 at the Concordia Hospital in Winnipeg. Mary is survived by her children, Jeannetta Smith of Flin Flon, Lenore Woznesensky of Winnipeg, Lawrence and Violet Raw of Hilbre, MB, Jim and Adeline Raw, Wilma Cleem, Glenda and Ron Richards, all of Winnipeg, Sharon and Mike Evershed of Brampton, ON; son-in-law Kjell Nasselquist of Creighton, SK; special granddaughter Patricia Fotti (Don) and 27 other grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren; one brother Ralph Weedmark of London, ON; and numerous other relatives. Mary was predeceased by her husband Matthew in 1973; daughter Yvonne Nasselquist, in 1993; two grandsons, her parents and seven siblings. Mary was born in Dominion City, MB, on February 27, 1913 and with the exception of two years in Saskatchewan, lived there until she moved to Winnipeg in 1981, where she resided until her death. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary to the Royal Canadian Legion and a lifetime member of the Dominion City Curling Club. Mom enjoyed her family, curling, knitting and playing bingo. Funeral service will take place on Monday, August 13, at 2:00 p.m. at the Dominion City United Church, Dominion City, MB. Interment to follow in Dominion City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Marys memory may be made to the Dominion City United Church Memorial Fund. May you rest in peace, Mom, we love you and will miss you dearly.
