LOUISE DOROTHY RAVEN "BUTTERFLY WOMAN" Peacefully on Monday, August 20, 2001 at St. Boniface Hospital, Louise Dorothy Raven of Hollow Water passed away at the age of 55 years. Louise was born at Pine Falls on February 2, 1946, spending most of her life in Hollow Water. Louise will be sadly missed by all who knew her. She was a special care giver, always willing to lend a helping hand to all. She was a very caring and compassionate person. She leaves to cherish her beautiful memory her husband Raymond; sons, Kevin (Holly), Ray Jr.; daughter Raquel (Faron) grandson Nicholas; granddaughter Brenda; sisters, Eileen (Lloyd), Verna, Lorraine, Norma (Roger), Alma, Francis, and adopted sister Gloria Bushie; brothers, Peter (Heather) and Joe (Lucy) sisters-in-law Beatrice (Norman), Marilyn (Dennis) brothers-in-law, Gary, Larry (Doreen), Michael (Marie), Robert (Jennifer) and Albert (Matilda). There are many godchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was predeceased by her father George (1971), mother Eva (1980), brother Clement (1980), and sister Alice (1989). Visitation will take place on Tuesday, August 21, 2001 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., with prayers at 7:00 p.m., at the Aboriginal Funeral Chapel, 724 Selkirk Ave., Winnipeg. Wake services will be held on Wednesday, August 22, 2001 and Thursday, August 23, 2001 at the residence of Raymond Raven, Hollow Water. Funeral service will be held on Friday, August 24, 2001 at 2:00 p.m., at the Hollow Water Roman Catholic Church, Hollow Water, MB, with Fr. Martin Huston officiating. Interment to follow at the Hollow Water Roman Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers will be John Mondor, Rick Peterson, Lloyd Desjarlais, Garf Bushie, Wesley Moneyas, and Ambrose Bushie. The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses of the Pine Falls Hospital, St. Boniface Hospital, the Hollow Water Chief and Council and members for their compassion and helpful resources.
