ESTHER (SALLY) SAUNDERS The family of Esther (Sally) Saunders is saddened to announce her passing on September 1, 2001. Sally was born to American parents in Saskatchewan, but lived her whole life in Winnipeg. She married Bud in 1942 and they were together until his death in 1998. Their three children were the centre of Sallys world and no sacrifice was too great for her to insure their well being. Sally owned a modeling school when her children were small and later had a successful real estate career long before many women worked outside the home. She was a longtime member of the P.E.O. and the American Womens Club. Recent years have been difficult for Sally due to health problems, but the tender and gentle caregivers at Golden Links Lodge helped make her life much easier. She died with her family by her side. A memorial service will be held at Golden Links Lodge, 2280 St. Marys Rd. on Thursday, September 13 at 11:00 a.m. for those who wish to say farewell. A private family memorial will be held in Calgary. Friends are invited to spend a few private moments to reflect upon and celebrate Sallys life. Flowers are gratefully declined.
