GERALD (GERRY) TREMBLAY Suddenly, on September 17, 2001, Gerry peacefully passed away at the age of 59. He joins his parents, Delphis and Evangeline, in eternal rest. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 39 years, Terry (Gagne) their five devoted children, Gilles (Dianne), Denis (Heidi), Michelle, Lise (Shawn) Smith and Giselle; along with six beautiful grandchildren, Breanne and Larrissa, Jesse and Nicholas and Evan and Meagan Smith. Gerry also leaves to mourn brothers and sisters, Irene, Roland, Leo-Paul, Lorraine (Garnet) Ruttan and Louise (Denis) Muller; mother-in-law Claire Nogue; a large extended family, and numerous friends. Gerry was born and raised in St. Boniface, MB. He worked at Centra Gas for over 35 years and was looking forward to his upcoming retirement. His life and happiness centred around his wife Terry and their children and grandchildren. He worked tirelessly to keep our large family close in each others hearts. Gerry loved to travel, play card games, bet the ponies and spend time at the cottage. His unique wit, generosity, and lovable style will be sorely missed. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, September 21, at 2:00 p.m., with viewing at 1:30 p.m., in St. Bernadette Catholic Parish, 820 Cottonwood Rd, with Rev. Fr. Fred Olds presiding. Interment will follow in Green Acres Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Gerrys memory to the Canadian Diabetes Association, 102-310 Broadway, Winnipeg, MB R3C 9S6, or the charity of ones choice. - The measure of a man - Not - "What did the sketch in the newspaper say?" But - "How many were sorry when he passed away?" Til we meet again GREEN ACRES FUNERAL CHAPEL 222-3241

  • Daddy, today is 16 years. I want you to know that you are not forgotten. I miss you everyday. The family is not the same without you. We go on, but with a little piece of us missing always. I hope you are with Mom. I miss you, I love you. I hope you are proud of all of us and guiding us. - Posted by: Gigi (Daughter) on: Sep 17, 2017
