Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryARTHUR EDWARD RAWLINGS 1915 - 2001 It is with deep sorrow we announce the passing of Arthur (Art) Edward Rawlings at age 86 on Friday, October 12, 2001. Art will be lovingly remembered by his wife Elizabeth ( Betty) of 50 years; sisters, Martha Minton and Emily Mayor; stepson Alex (Marion) Waywood; granddaughter Cindy (Tim) Downer; grandson Russ (Mary) Waywood and their families; special friends, Jackie and Bill; numerous nephews, nieces, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and their families. He was predeceased by his parents James and Martha Rawlings; brothers William, George Bud Oswald, Raymond and Reginald; sisters Viola and Edith. Art served with the Cameron Highlanders during the Second World War, was a member of I.O.F. and worked for the Department of National Defence retiring in 1980. Funeral service will take place at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 16 at Bardal Funeral Home, 843 Sherbrook St. Interment Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. The family wishes to thank the doctors, nurses and staff at Grace Hospital.
