Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDOROTHY PRUDEN October 29, 1918 - October 18, 2001 Peacefully, on Thursday, our Mum and Gran passed away at Fred Douglas Lodge. Dorothy was born in Wembley, England. She served in the British Land Army during the Second World War, working in Devon on the farms. She made many friendships there that lasted her whole lifetime. It also allowed her to work with animals and show her love for them. She came to Canada in 1946, married, raised her two daughters, Bonnie (Walter) Krochak and Debbie (Dieter). She became a health care aide and worked at Central Park Lodge for many years, looking after little old ladies, much like herself. She will be sadly missed by her close friends, Jenny Ramsay and the girls from the British Wives Overseas Club; neighbours Carol and Klaus; who kept an eye out for her; her two sisters, Vera and Rose; niece Janet; and her two grandchildren, Kerry and Jeff. According to mums wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no service. You taught us everything, were a great mum, who was always there for us. We will miss you. Love Bonnie & Debbie CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
