SOLANGE BEAUDETTE (nee BARNABE) Peacefully on Friday, October 26, 2001 at the age of 82 years, our Mother passed away surrounded by her family. Solange was born in 1919 in the community of Saint-Jean-Baptiste, where she grew up, married, and raised a family. She was predeceased by her husband Alphonse and her brother Aime Barnabe. She will be lovingly remembered by her sister Annette (Ken) Reppen. She will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her children and grandchildren, Rosemarie (James J. Brown) and their children, Michelle, Lisa, and Julie; Yolande (John Chandler) and their children, Roderick and Melissa; Noella (Martial Fontaine) and their children, Danielle (Nathan Koslowsky) and Natalie; Gerald (Lynne Baril) and their children, Rossel, Stephen, and Brigitte; Marcel; Lise (Guy Fillion) and their children Eric and Joanne; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Mom devoted her entire life to her family. She will always be remembered as a very generous and caring person. Her determination and courage throughout her life will always be an inspiration for her loved ones. Moms cheerful disposition and love of life will remain with us forever. Maman a consacre sa vie entiere pour sa famille tout en rendant service dans certaines activites communautaires tel que "La Ligue des Femmes Catholiques". Toujours tres genereuse et acceuillante, Maman repandait sans cesse lamour et la joie de vivre autour delle. Son grand coeur etait toujours pres de ses enfants et ses petits-enfants. Sincere thanks to Dr. Pan and all medical staff at the Saint-Boniface General Hospital and the Altona Community Memorial Health Centre. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, (today) October 30 at 2:00 p.m. at the Saint-Jean-Baptiste Roman Catholic Church. Viewing at 1:30 p.m. prior to the service.
