LINDA TINNO (nee HIIE) July 18, 1922 - November 1, 2001 Peacefully, on Thursday, November 1, 2001, Linda Tinno passed away at the Grace General Hospital She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Linda Ruth Connor, son-in-law Dr. Graham Connor, and her grandsons, Iain, Ryan, and Colin, who will remember their "Nadya" in a very special way. She will also be remembered by her son-in-laws family, Dr. Robin Connor, his wife Sylvia; Dr. David Connor, wife Kathy, and their sons, Cameron and Malcolm. Cherishing her memory will be her dear friends, Mrs. Marion Crass and Ms. Norma Hunter. Linda was born in Tallinn, Estonia on July 18, 1922 and immigrated to Canada in 1951, where she proudly became a "new Canadian". She was employed at Ogilvie Flour Mills as a bookkeeper for over 30 years. Her legacy is the strong family roots she planted. All who knew Linda admired her courage and tenacity throughout her many years of illness. In accordance with Lindas wishes, a private family service has taken place. On Sunday, November 11 our family will be hosting an afternoon tea from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. in the Columbus Courts, 253 Edgeland Blvd., Winnipeg, MB. Our family wishes to express our sincere thanks to Dr. Kevin Coates and the staff of St. Boniface and Grace Hospital for their kindness and professionalism, and to Mr. Tom Blair and Mr. and Mrs. Ernie and Kathy Hildebrand, for your love and support. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made in Lindas memory to the Citizenship Council of Manitoba, 406 Edmonton St., Winnipeg, MB R3B 2M2, an organization which provides assistance to new citizens. Id like the memory of me to be a happy one. Id like to leave an after glow of smiles when life is done. Id like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways, Of happy times and laughing times and bright and sunny days. Id like the tears of those who grieve, to dry before the sun Of happy memories that I leave When life is done. With love, from Nadya WOJCIKS ALL BELIEFS & FAITHS FUNERAL CHAPEL & CREMATORIUM 897 - 4665
