KATHLEEN BERYL POST (nee RODGERS) It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of K. Beryl Post on Sunday, December 30, 2001 at the Maples Personal Care Home at the age of 91 years. Beryl will be lovingly remembered by her children, Rodger (Carol), Ken (Gayle), Raeleen (Vic) and Kraig (Marcella) 10 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; sisters, Hazel Anderson, Alison Michalosky, Mavis Stewart (Chuck) and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband George, brothers Jack and Alan. Beryl was born in Sandford, MB. She married George in 1936 and they resided in Domain, MB until 1944, Manitou, MB until 1959, then moved to Winnipeg to resume her teaching career where she taught at H.C. Avery in Garden City until her retirement in 1973. Mom was an active member of the United Church and a lifetime member of the U.C.W. The family would like to thank the Maples Personal Care Home for all the care and comfort shown to Mom. A celebration of Beryls life will take place on Thursday, January 3, 2002 at 1:00 p.m. in the Leatherdale Gardiner Funeral Chapel, 1501 Waverley St. Interment will follow at Garry Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be her four grandsons. If friends so desire, donations in memory of Beryl may be made to a charity of your choice.
