ALBERTINE (BETTY) POIRIER (nee GENEREUX) It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our dearest mother, Betty, at the age of 85 years. Betty leaves to cherish her beautiful memory her two loving sons, Leo (Delores) and Murray (Thelma) both of British Columbia. Also left to mourn are her 13 precious grandchildren and her special sister Antoinette. Betty was predeceased by her husband Harry, her son Donald and an infant son. She will be forever remembered for her love and devotion to her family and friends. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 10 from Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357 Des Meurons St., at 9:30 a.m. with a gathering of family and friends to follow. Interment will be held at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 301 - 352 Donald St., Winnipeg, Manitoba, R3B 2H8.
