Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHAZEL BEATRICE PRUDEN Peacefully on January 10, 2002 at the Selkirk General Hospital, Hazel Pruden, aged 81 years, of Lockport, MB. Hazel was predeceased by her husband Curtis in 1960; two sons, Bob and Lloyd; and a daughter Patricia. She leaves surviving two sons, Martin (Pat) of Selkirk and Glen of Lockport; two daughters, Beatrice Goodman (Melvin Goodman-deceased) of Whitehorse, YT, and Cindy Wills (Nigel) of Winnipeg; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grand-children; three sisters, Tillie Cook and Betty Fidler of Selkirk and Mae McRae (Alvin) of Lockport; sister-in-law Gladys Taylor of Lockport; and many nieces and nephews. Hazel was born in Selkirk on August 13, 1920 and had lived at Lockport most of her life. She had been a resident of the Tudor Home in Selkirk for the past two years. She had worked for many years as a housekeeper in Selkirk and in her spare time enjoyed bingo. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and looked forward to the family dinners and functions. Hazel was a happy person, with a good sense of humour and a hearty laugh. Funeral service will be held on Monday, (today) at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel, with Rev. Stephen Sharman officiating. Cremation will follow. Special thanks to all the staff at the Tudor Home and the Selkirk General Hospital for all their excellent care. If friends so desire, donations may be made in her memory to the Alzheimer Society, 205 Edmonton St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 1R4. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk, in care of arrangements.
