Dearly beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend to all who knew and loved her. Predeceased by loving husband Steve in 1976; her most precious son Tom in 2000; her brothers, Mike and John; and her only sister Grace. Agnes had been severely disabled by suffering a stroke and had never fully recovered. We are all saddened by her loss as she was a bright spot in all our lives. She grew up in Elmwood, they were quite a large family, so she learned to cook, clean and make the most delicious chicken soup ever in her young days. She worked at Woolworths Downtown in Winnipeg where she was always proud to say - she was the top sales girl. There she met, fell in love with and married Steve Thorsteinson. They spent many happy years together. We will miss you, Grandma. Rest in Peace See you sometime Arrangements in care of Bardal Funeral Home, Sherbrook St. It was Agnes wish to be cremated and to have a family interment at the St. Vital Cemetery, which will be announced later.
