URBAIN HENRY (HANK) RAMSAY Urbain Henry (Hank) Ramsay, of Warroad, MN passed away peacefully on February 21, 2002 in Bloomington. Hank was born September 23, 1920 in Van Buren, AR, and was raised by his parents, James and Ophelia, in Canada. Hank served in the Royal Canadian Corps of Signals during the Second World War. He married Helen M. Wirch after the war, and was employed by the Canadian National Railways, relocating to Warroad and working as a telegrapher and station agent until his retirement. Hank and Helen ran the Silver Dollar Bar in Warroad for many years, and he was a longtime member of the Andrew O. Mattson American Legion Post and the Shrine Kem Temple. Helen preceded Hank in death and he is survived by his son and daughter-in-law James Ramsay and Susan Koskinen, of Winnipeg, and daughter and son-in-law Mary and Dennis Evans, of Bloomington, and grandchildren, Jonathon, Matthew, Patrick and Gwendolyn. Pursuant to Hanks request, there will be no public service and the remains have been cremated.
