MAURICE BEAUDIN 1933 - 2002 Peacefully in his sleep, Maurice Beaudin passed away at the age of 68. He was predeceased by sister Roberta, brother Cyril, brother-in-law Marcel, mother Juliette, father Paul and stepmother Lavina. Maurice is survived by his wife Joan; daughter Tania Grant (Darryl) granddaughter Coryn Grant and her father Tim (Murielle) granddaughter Stacie Roberts and her mother Debbie (William) sisters, Pauline (Robert) Dionne, Terri Hopkins, Yvette Ingrand; sister-in-law Val Beaudin; brother-in-law Gary Evans. He will be sadly missed by the families and friends who knew him. Maurice came to Winnipeg from Vancouver in 1975 to be business partners with Robert at a Gulf station on Osborne Street. He spent 15 years at Canadian Linen Supply where he met many people. He resided at St. Vital Villa for 27 years, where he watched many a hockey and football game on TV. Maurice was a kind and loving man who enjoyed spending time with both granddaughters. Visitation will be held from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 26, at Glen Lawn Funeral Home. The funeral service will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 27, at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd., with interment to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. It will be lonely here without you, As life will not be the same for us, To part with the one you love. You bid no one farewell, No chance to say goodbye, You were gone before we knew it. It broke our hearts to lose you, And part of our hearts went with you. Though your smile is gone forever, And your hand we cannot touch, Well never lose the memory, Thats forever in our hearts.
