Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryAUDREY JANET OKEMOW It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our mother, daughter, sister, aunt, niece, cousin and friend, Audrey Janet Okemow on Sunday, March 3, 2002 at the age of 33 years. She leaves to mourn her children, Christina, Roger and their father Clarence Andrews; her parents, Jack and Mary E. Okemow; her sisters, Jacqueline and Stephanie; her brothers, Gerald, Billy and Bradley (Mary) nephews, Chad and Tyler and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends, all of Gods Lake Narrows. Audrey was predeceased by her maternal grandparents, Annie and Maxwell Bee; paternal grandparents, Ruby and Adam Okemow. Audrey was a kind, passionate and caring woman who loved her children, her family and friends dearly. She worked at Gods Lake Elder Peoples Home before she moved to Thompson where she obtained certification as a health care aide worker. Audrey strived to make life better for herself and her children, as well as those around her. Her goal to become a nurse and care for the elderly truly reflected her giving nature. Audrey will be forever remembered and greatly missed in the hearts of all those that love her. Wake services will be held on Wednesday, March 6 and Thursday, March 7 at Gods Lake Narrows. Funeral service will be held on Friday, March 8 at 1:00 p.m. at the Gods Lake Narrows United Church with Rev. Hilda Perch officiating.
