GERARD (GERRY) BEAUDRY March 8, 1930 - April 6, 2002 Gerry passed away peacefully on Friday, April 5, 2002 at the St. Boniface Hospital. He was predeceased by his brothers and sisters, Irene Tibodeau, Rose Gobeil, Therese Tibodeau, Helene Tardiff, Lucille Berriault, Adrienne Allard, Victor Brassard, Charles Brassard, Albert, Louis and Louise and his infant grandson Isiah. Gerry leaves to mourn his loving wife of 40 years, Mary; their children, Audrey (Brad), Kelly Joe and Tracy (Claude) his grandchildren, Amy, Samantha, and Matthew; as well as his brothers and sisters, Emilie Comeault, Madge van Kooten, Germaine Kehler, Paul, Marie Prevost, Anita (Marcel) Bouchard, Emile (Estelle), Yvonne (Julien) Verrier, Joe (Bernadette), and Eugene (Ida). In Gerrys early years, he worked at the Scott-Bathgate candy factory and later went on to work as a computer supervisor for Weidman Brothers. During his retirement he volunteered his time at the Riverview day hospital where he set up the woodworking workshop, and spent many hours enjoying his woodworking and cross-stitch projects. Gerry was also kept busy maintaining the family book. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 9 at the Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. (south of the Royal Canadian Mint) with a reception and interment to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 301-352 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB, R3B 2H8.
