Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMABEL ELMA THOMAS March 25, 1948 - April 18, 2002 On Thursday, April 18, 2002, at her home, Mabel Elma Thomas, of Peguis First Nation, peacefully went to sleep. Mabel was born on March 25, 1948 at the Fisher River Hospital, Peguis, MB. Mabel leaves to mourn her passing, her special friend, Winston Sinclair; her children, Elvis (Shirley), Morley (Laurette), Dale (Roslyn), Raymond, Kim (Charles) Cameron, Steven (Teena), Loretta Ross, and Benjamin (Tatiana) brothers, Clarence (Edith), Edward (Edna), Clibborn (Denise), Larry (Janice), and Earl (Kathy) sisters, Doris (Jim), Shirley (Louis) Stevenson; 32 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Mabel was predeceased by her former husband, Morley Flett Sr.; her son, Darrell; parents, Clibborn and Muriel; sisters, Linda and Gloria; brother Stanley; and her granddaughter, Kaytlin. Mabel was self employed in the carpet cleaning business for the past seven years. She enjoyed camping, picnics, get togethers with her family and friends, wilderness movies, and attending Bingo with her Bingo Buddies. She also enjoyed going out on the open road, cooking, and especially her grandchildren. A wake service will be held on Sunday, April 21 at 7:30 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Monday, April 22 at 2:00 p.m. Viewing will be from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Both services will be held at the Peguis Community Hall, Peguis, MB, with Rev.
