MARY LYDIA PULLANO (ZLOTY) October 31, 1912 - April 12, 2002 Peacefully, on Friday, Mary Pullano, aged 89 years, passed away at Concordia Hospital with her son Richard by her side. She was predeceased by her husband Nicholas in 2000. Mary is survived by her son Richard (Carolyn) granddaughter Jeree (Kim) Horne; and great-granddaughter Justine; special nieces and one nephew. Mary was born in Winnipeg and grew up in the North End. For the last 30 years she lived in East Kildonan. She retired as a Matron at the Girls Juvenile Detention Centre on Drury Ave. Mary and Nick then began travelling to Europe, Florida and other places which they both enjoyed. She particularly enjoyed their cabin at Grand Beach. Family and friends knew her as kind, caring and generous, but also very strong willed person. The family wish to thank friends, neighbours and relatives who visited her or prayed for her during her stay at the hospital. Special thanks to all the nurses and staff at Concordia Hospital for all their care and support. According to Marys wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no service. She will rest along side her mother and father at Brookside Cemetery. If friends so desire, donations may be made in Marys memory to a charity of ones choice. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
