LYNNE THOROGOOD (nee McCARTNEY) On Friday, April 12, 2002 at the Health Sciences Centre, Lynne Thorogood, aged 64, of Winnipeg, formerly of Selkirk, beloved wife of Stuart, passed away suddenly. Besides her loving husband of 43 years, Lynne is survived by her daughter Marilyn Gutwein (Michael), grandchildren, Daniel and Mikayla; son Lyle (Joan), and her beloved Pachez. Also survived by sisters, Lois McCartney and her family of Edmonton, Roberta Topping (Richard), and Ola Czeranko (Tony) and family. Thank you to the staff on 2A at Victoria Hospital, as well as Dr. Thorlakson and staff of the ICU; thanks also to Dr. Oppenheimer and staff at Health Sciences SICU, and special thanks to Dr. Meera Sinha. At Lynnes request, cremation is to take place with no service to follow. If friends so wish, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk, in care of arrangements.
