MARCIEN DESORCY Peacefully, on Sunday, May 5, 2002 Marcien Desorcy, beloved father to Jeannette Jolicoeur, passed away with his loved ones at his side. Surviving him: daughter Jeannette; granddaughters, Ginette, Danielle (Joshua), Lise and Dominique; great-grandchildren, Cassandra and Leif; sisters, Rose, Therese (Romeo), Marcelle; and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents; wife Marguerite; son-in-law Rene; brothers, Joseph, Charles and Raphael; and sister Marie-Ange. Born and raised in Lorette, he farmed until his health would not allow him to continue. He then undertook barbering, schoolbus driving and working at Lorette Co-op. The family wishes to thank Dr. P. Fredette, Ste. Anne Hospital staff, homecare workers and a special angel "Valerie", for their wonderful care. Your help has been priceless. Prayers will be said at 2:00 p.m. on May 9, followed by Mass of the Resurrection in Notre-Dame de Lorette Church, 474 Dawson Rd., Lorette, MB. Interment will follow in Green Acres Memorial Gardens.
