CHRISTINE ROSE POWLOWSKI (WOLOSHEN) November 19, 1949 May 12, 2002 It is with heavy heart that we announce the passing of our loving and cherished mother Christine Rose Powlowski. She peacefully went to her place in heaven on May 12, 2002 with her family by her side in Red Lake, ON. Christine was born and raised in Winnipeg. She lived there most of her life. When she became ill she moved to Red Lake to be cared for by her daughter. Christine was predeceased by her father, Stanley Powlowski. She is survived by her daughter Michelle Woloshen (Gerardo Pace) son Kirk Woloshen (Kim) granddaughter Jessica Pace; mother Antonia Powlowski; and sisters, Shirley Halayda, Marg Wenden, Cathy Serban and Gwen Lowes. Christines ashes will be interred in the Serenity Chapel at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens, 4477 Main St., on Friday, May 17 at 12:00 noon. Please meet at the funeral home. Following interment a mass will be held at St. Alphonsus Church, 300 Donalda Ave. (Munroe at Brazier) at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be forwarded to the ALS Society of Canada.
