GILBERT DONAT BEAULIEU Gilbert Donat Beaulieu passed away on Monday, May 27, 2002, at the Deer Lodge Centre at the age of 82 years. Survived by his wife Irene of 57 years; children, Bobby, Linda (Jack), Mitzi (Donald), Joel (Karen) grandchildren, Jaclin, David and Lisa (Morgan). Gilbert was predeceased by his brothers, Lionel, Armand (Bibs), Gerald, Roland and Eugene (Jeep). Gilbert served for five years with the Royal Winnipeg Rifles, and was wounded in action in April of 1945 in Europe. Gilbert raised his family in Pine Falls, working for Abitibi for 30 years. He retired in 1986 following a 20 year career with International Hairdressers. Memorial service will be held on Friday, May 31, at 2:00 p.m. at the Deer Lodge Centre, 2109 Portage Ave., with a luncheon to follow. A private family interment will take place at a later date.
