HAROLD GRANT BEATTY Passed away June 3, 2002 at the age of 72 after a brief and valiant battle with cancer. Harold was born in Saskatoon, SK, spent the first part of his life in Winnipeg, MB. then moved with his family to Campbell River, BC in 1975. He leaves to mourn his passing his beloved wife of 50 years Vivian; son Martin and wife Chris; daughter Leslie and husband Arnold; five grandchildren, Elizabeth, Jason, Andrea, Calvin and Cara; one sister Marjorie of Gimli, MB; as well as his many nieces and nephews. Harold had a great zest for life that never wavered throughout his illness. He will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by the family he loved so much. No service by his request. A gathering of family and friends will be held to commemorate his life. In lieu of flowers, should you so desire, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, BC & Yukon Division, 1423-B 16th Ave. Campbell River, BC, V9W 2C4 in his memory.
