GLADYS MAY PORTER Gladys May Porter (nee Pannell) on July 18, 2002, peacefully, in her sleep. Mourning her passing are one daughter and spouse, two grandchildren and spouses, two great-grandchildren, many nieces, one nephew, several grand and great-grandnieces and nephews, courtesy family members and her dear lifelong friend. Gladys was predeceased by her husband in 1978 and by her elder daughter in 1983. She was a very creative person who loved to sew, do ceramics, decoupage and paper tole and had a great flair for cooking and baking. She loved to travel and often visited distant relatives. In her later years, Gladys enjoyed being a member of a quilting team who donates their creations to sick children. Heartfelt thanks to those at St. Boniface Hospital and Golden Door Geriatric Centre who were so kind and helpful. Memorial service to be held Tuesday, June 25 at 2:00 p.m. at Thomson Funeral Chapels, 669 Broadway. Flowers gratefully declined.
