Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryALCIDE DESROCHERS 1911 - 2002 Peacefully passed away on Friday, June 28, 2002 at the Lorne Memorial Hospital, Swan Lake, MB, Alcide Arthur Desrochers, aged 90 years of Somerset, MB and formerly Mariapolis, MB beloved husband of the late Germaine Desrochers (nee Lecoq). Alcide leaves to mourn his passing and to cherish his loving memory two daughters, Mona (Bill) Beckett and Velma (Ed) Taylor; son Ubald (Beverly) Desrochers; seven grandchildren, Russell (Angela) Moquin, Jeff (Marina) Moquin, Jamie Moquin, Cosette (Fabricio) Taylor-Mendes, Ian Taylor, Raelene (friend Bernard Gagnon) Desrochers, and Randy Desrochers, seven great-grandchildren, Aaron and Sarah Moquin, Kelsey, Jeremy and Jacob Moquin and Mitchell and Julia Moquin; and by one half sister, Lucille Therrian. Prayers will be said from the Budz Funeral Chapel, Holland, MB on Monday, July 1 at 7:00 p.m. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated from Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church, Mariapolis on Tuesday, July 2 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, if friends so wish, donations may be made in Alcides memory to the Mariapolis Choir, Mariapolis, MB, R0K 1K0.
