DORIS PRUDEN May 3, 1966 - July 12, 2002 It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Doris Pruden, of Fairford First Nation, on July 12, 2002, at the age of 36 years, with her family at her side. Doris leaves to mourn her parents, William John (Boo-Boo) and Jane Pruden; her children, Leonard, Andrew, William, Crystal and Nikita; her sisters, Carrie (Ernest) Anderson, Harriet (Doug Bard) Pruden; brothers, Henry, Samuel (Colleen), Ernest (Melody) many aunties, uncles, cousins and friends. Doris was predeceased by her daughter Helen Pruden; baby brother Andrew; great-grandmother Jane Sabiston; grandmothers, Carrie Sinclair and Harriet Pruden; grandfather Thomas Pruden; and uncle Thomas Pruden. Doris spent most of her childhood in Fairford and then moved to Winnipeg, where she was always happy to spend time with her family. She was very caring and willing to help others. Doris enjoyed volunteering at the Anishinaabe Fellowship Centre with Rev. Mullin. Doris will always be loved and remembered by her family and friends. A wake service will be held at the Bread of Life Ministry Church, 1338 Main St., Winnipeg, MB, on Sunday, July 14 at 7:00 p.m. A wake service will also be held on Monday, July 15 at 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 16 at 2:00 p.m. Both these services will be held at the Fairford House of Prayer, Fairford, MB, with Pastor Don Gould officiating. Interment to follow at St. Helens Anglican Cemetery. "I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing."
