Colette was dedicated to her career as a member of The Canadian Armed Forces since 1983, serving duty in Pettawawa, Ottawa and Cold Lake, AB. Most recently, Colette was a proud and respected member of the 2nd Battalion of the Princess Patricia Canadian Light Infantry in Winnipeg, where she served as Master Corporal since 1998, and just recently had returned from a six month peacekeeping tour of duty in Bosnia. During her term with the Armed Forces, Colette was admired and commended for her financial expertise and excellence in all she was assigned to do. She left behind a legacy of love and devotion to her family and friends. The nurturing and loving manner in which she raised her two girls make it quite obvious that they were and always will be the love of her life. Colette will always be remembered for her fun loving nature and infectious smile. She entertained us like a trooper with colourful language. She was a genuine true friend to all who had the privilege of knowing her. The neighbourhood will not be the same without her. She was truly loved and will be missed.
