BERNICE BEAULIEU April 4, 1939 - August 12, 2002 It is with great sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of our dear wife, mother, sister, grandmother and aunt. Bernice passed away on August 12, 2002 at the Surrey Memorial Hospital in Surrey, BC. Bernice was born and raised in Sandy Bay, MB. She received her education at the Sandy Bay Residential School. Bernice then moved to Winnipeg, MB. In 1971 Bernice and Bill Thompson moved to Vancouver, BC. Bernice resided there until her demise. Left to mourn are her husband (partner) Bill Thompson of Surrey; two sisters, Blanche Olson of Vancouver, Ethel and Les Beaulieu; two brothers, Douglas and Doris Cook of Sandy Bay, Cyril and Mary Sinclair of St. Vital, Winnipeg; one son Lyle and Gloria Beaulieu of Sandy Bay; special grandson Brandon Assiniboine of Surrey. There are numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 17 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Angels Catholic Church in Amaranth, MB.
