SHIRLEY MYRNA LOY POZNIAK March 28, 1935 - August 12, 2002 It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our mother, Nan, and great-grandmother. Shirley was predeceased by her mother Evelyn, husband John, caring companion "Unkie" Harvey, and dear friend Neil. Shirley leaves to mourn her three children, Evelyn (Todd), Laurie (Claude), Kevin (Marci) grandchildren, Myrna (Frank), Brent (Charlene), Kami, Stephanie (Chris), Greg, Stacy (Dustin), Stasha, Shealyn; great-grandchildren, Drydonn, Gage, Adaira, Emma and Jayden. She also leaves behind her three sisters, Barbara, Eleanor and Jeanine; dear friends, Pat, Elmer, Alice, Madame Gauvin, Ruth, Agnes and John; along with many other friends, extended family and bingo buddies. Shirley will be remembered for her humourous, caring and giving personality. She loved all those that were fortunate to be part of her life. Shirley had a talent for crocheting, knitting and, of course, her cooking. One of her favourite pastimes was playing bingoshe especially like the Red Cross bingo because they treated her well which always kept her going back. She enjoyed crosswords, old time movies, singing with her great-grandkids, and a good game of cards with family and friends. Her most recently enjoyed activities were cards on the computer, and Internet backgammon. Service will be Sunday, August 18 at 7:00 p.m. at the Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler Ave., with Chaplain Daly de Gagne officiating.
