Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJENNIE JEAN LOFSTROM (nee ZAHARA) It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Jennie Lofstrom of Lac du Bonnet, MB at the age of 87 years. Mom passed away peacefully at the Pinawa Hospital on Thursday, September 5, 2002, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was predeceased by her husband Julian; her parents, Dmytro and Kathleen Zahara; her brothers, Joseph and Michael Zahara; her sister Mary Marr and her son-in-law Sheldon Petersen. Moms memory will be cherished by her daughter Marlene; son Dennis and daughter-in-law Rosalie; her grandchildren, Sharlene (Robert) Lodge, Kevin (Jenny) Petersen and her loving great-grandchildren, Brett Lodge and Cole Petersen. Funeral service will be held on Monday, September 9 at 1:00 p.m. at the St. Johns Anglican Church, Lac du Bonnet, MB. with Rev. Brian Rountree officiating. Interment will follow in the Lac du Bonnet Cemetery. If friends so desire, donations in Jennies memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 193 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, MB, R3C 2B7 or to a charity of ones choice. The family wishes to thank Dr. Van Gend and Dr. Olivier and the wonderful nursing staff at the Pinawa Hospital for their care and compassion.
