ANN DOUGLAS WOOTTON (nee ELDER) Sadly, we regret to announce the passing of Ann on Friday, Sept-ember 13, 2002. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Rex in December 2001, sister Kathleen, and brother Sam. Ann was born in Winnipeg on July 29, 1918. She met Rex in Winnipeg during the war and they celebrated their 58th wedding anniversary in 2001. She started her career with the C.P.R. and then spent many years volunteering for various organizations. Two of those being The Childrens Hospital Book Market, and the St. Johns Guild. She enjoyed doing crafts and many people are the lucky recipients of her lovely work. Her main priority was always her family. Her favourite place was the cottage at Caddy Lake where she played many card games. She had a special relationship with her two grandchildren, Scott and Laura, who were so very precious to her. She will be sadly missed by her daughter Diann and husband Greg Magnus; her grand-children and spouses, Scott and Trisha Magnus of Lockport, MB, and Laura and Randy LeDrew of Banff, AB. Cremation has taken place. Anns request was that there would be no service. She will make one final journey to Caddy Lake. In lieu of flowers a donation may be made to a charity of ones choice.
