AGNES ELIZABETH POOLES (nee FORSTER) Peacefully on Sunday, September 22, 2002 Agnes passed away at Riverview Health Centre. Agnes was predeceased by her husband Leslie in 1991. She is survived by her daughter Lesley and son-in-law John Leslie; sister-in-law Lil Forster and many nieces, nephews and friends. Born in Carman, MB, Agnes finished her education in Winnipeg and graduated as a laboratory technician from Misericordia Hospital working for medical doctors and later dentists. Agnes was a member of the Winnipeg Canoe Club and Charleswood Golf Club for many years. Agnes was also a member of the Get Acquainted Bowling League and a long time member of Christ the King Catholic Church. Cremation has taken place. A private memorial graveside service will take place at a later date. Should friends so desire, donations in Agnes memory may be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society or the Quagga Cat Shelter. The family wishes to thank the staff at Tuxedo Villa Nursing Home, St. Boniface Hospital, Riverview Health Care Centre and Thomson Funeral Chapels for all their care and compassion.
