Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARIA POPESCU September 25, 1909 - October 24, 2002 Surrounded by her family, Maria Popescu passed away gently on Thursday, October 24, 2002. She was predeceased by her husband Corneliu Popescu and brothers, Ion and Eugene. Maria will be sadly missed by her daughter Cathy and her husband Viorel Craja; granddaughter, Andreea LeBleu and husband Ken; and great-granddaughter Jade Marie (seven weeks old). The family would like to thank the 3rd floor east staff at the Deer Lodge Hospital for all their care and compassion during her stay there. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Monday, October 28 at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. (south of the Royal Canadian Mint) with a viewing one-half hour prior to the service. Interment and reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Marias memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
