ALDINA KOS July 14, 1972 With deep sorrow the family wishes to announce that a tragic accident occurred in Seoul, Korea. Aldinas young life was suddenly taken from us on Nov-ember 2, 2002. Aldinas warmth, generosity, loyalty, outgoing personality, sensitivity, ability to make one smile, her appreciation for other cultures and lifestyles and her true and valued sense of family (especially her grandmother, uncles, aunts, cousins and extended family in Sarajevo, Bosnia) and friendship allowed her to form bonds everywhere she went. These friendships span the globe as she was an avid world traveller and employee of Air Canada for six years. These everlasting bonds will live on in the minds and hearts of all those she touched while she was with us. Her beautiful smile and energy shone through in her passion for living life to the fullest. She always reached for the sky and this was evident by her accomplishments. She was well read, musically inclined, knowledgeable in world affairs and fluent in several languages. She warmed our hearts with her beautiful singing voice whether it was driving in the car or at a special occasion. Another way for her to connect with people on an intimate basis was spending countless hours talking over coffee (Earls would have a carafe waiting for her as she walked through the door). Aldina was so excited to live life to the fullest she would put sleep to the wayside. Aldinas final moments in Seoul were spent embracing her love for children by sharing with them her knowledge of life. Aldinas family was sacred to her. She was survived by her father, Mustafa, mother, Ediba, younger sister, Almina, grandmother, Fatima and families: Kos, Turabija, Becirovic, Delic, Alikadic, Gacanin, Karahmet, Bakarsic, Agovic, Pokrklic, Gazibara, Handzic, Ramezic, Spaho, Duratbegovic, Dzananovic, Kanlic, Biber, Forto, and many other close friends who knew Aldina in Winnipeg, across Canada and around the world who supported us through our difficult time. For those who were blessed to know Aldina, prayer services will be held at the Islamic Centre Mosque, 247 Hazelwood Ave., Saturday, November 9, at 11:00 a.m. A special memorial service to celebrate Aldinas life will also be held at Darwin School, 175 Darwin St. (St.Vital) Sunday, November 10, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Islamic Centre Mosque, 247 Hazelwood Ave.
