KALPANA PRABHAKAR GUPTA We announce the peaceful passing of our beloved dear wife, mother and sister on November 9, 2002 at the Riverview Health Centre, Winnipeg. Kalpana will be dearly missed by her husband Prabhakar, two children, Chirag (Apexa) and Parag; brothers, Nayan (Malti) Bhalja of Nigeria and Jayant (Shobhana) Bhalja of India. Born on November 13, 1948 at Baroda, India, to Kantilal and Kantaben Bhalja, Kalpana grew up with strong traditional family values. Marrying Prabhakar in 1970, she raised her two children with a determination to instinct the same values that she was raised with. Her familys well being was always foremost in her mind. Kalpanas friendly and lively nature will be remembered and cherished for a long time not only by her family, but also by her long list of friends. The Gupta family would like to sincerely thank everyone for the love and support received during Kalpanas sickness. Particularly, we are grateful to Dr. Bharat Shah and the entire staff at Riverview Health Centre. Funeral service will be held on Monday, November 11 at 2:00 p.m. in the Leatherdale Gardiner Funeral Chapel, 1501 Waverley St., Winnipeg. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Hindu Centre-HSM, 854 Ellice Ave., Winnipeg, MB. R3C 0G4.
