Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryROLAND JOSEPH LEOPOLD PROVOST At Foyer Valade, on Thursday, November 14, 2002, peacefully and surrounded by love, Roland journeyed to his eternal home. He will be fondly remembered by his wife of 42 years, Cecile (Sabourin) her two daughters, Gisele Gauthier and Diane Levasseur and their families; his two brothers, Edmond and Bernard, many nieces and nephews. Roland was born September 18, 1920 in Ste. Elizabeth, MB, son of Joseph and Celina (Parenteau). His veteran service in the Second World War was a source of pride for him and upon his return had a long career at Supercrete as a heavy equipment operator. He especially loved meeting people, travelling and woodworking. His laughter and joie de vivre were well known to all. The Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, November 18 at the Saint-Jean-Baptiste Roman Catholic Church, Saint-Jean-Baptiste, MB. Interment of the cremated remains will take place in the parish cemetery immediately following the service. A bouquet of thanks to the staff of Foyer Valade for their tender care and affection. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Rolands memory to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba, 10-120 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3G 4G2.
