Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryESTHER KAUS April 14, 1913 - November 19, 2002 Peacefully surrounded by her family on November 19, 2002, Esther Kaus passed away at Kildonan Personal Care Centre at the age of 89 years. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Clarence (Debbie) Kaus, Delores (Brian) Hillman and Valerie (Ed) Farias; grandchildren, Darren, Melanie (Peter), Brent, Kevin, Justin, Alanna and Kyle; and sister Irene Weidner. She was predeceased by her husband Asaph; and siblings, Angela Kiesman, Paul Haupt and Edward Haupt. Esther was a strong but gentle lady with a heart of gold. She enjoyed singing, baking and sewing. She always had a house full of company and loved having her children over after church on Sundays. Esther had a wonderful spirit about her that touched everyone who knew her. She will be deeply missed and in our prayers forever and always. Thanks to all the staff at Kildonan Personal Care Centre for their loving care of our Mom and family. Funeral service 1:00 p.m. Friday, November 22 at Evangelical Lutheran Church of the Cross, 560 Arlington St., with viewing one-half hour prior to the service. Interment Brookside Cemetery.
