DMYTRO (DAN) TOMCHUK It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Dan Tomchuk, at Seven Oaks Hospital on November 18, 2002, at the age of 95. Dan was predeceased by his wife Mary. He is survived by his children, Ed (Olga), Eleanor (Russ), Eadie (Al), Liz, Ernie (Trudy) 14 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren, and his sister Mary Hnatiuk of Fisher Branch. Dads greatest pleasure came from activities with his family. He was inventive and mechanically inclined, spending many hours in his garage repairing family cars and building among other things a go-kart, scooter, and a gas powered rake. In accordance with his wishes cremation has taken place with no funeral service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Ste. 200 - 6 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6. Remembered always, loved forever.
