DOROTHY CRAWFORD LEIBL (nee McMILLAN) Peacefully on December 2, 2002 at the Concordia Hospital, Dorothy (Do) passed away at the age of 88. Dorothy was predeceased by her husband of 59 years Oscar Leibl (Ossie). She will be deeply missed by her loving family; her son Ron (Anne) Leibl; her grandchildren, Wendy (Rene) Guenette, from Winnipeg, and Geoffrey (Tammy) Leibl from San Diego. Dorothys great-grandchildren, Nicole, Michael and Danielle Morin, Luc Guenette, Tyler and Noah Leibl. Born on February 3, 1914 in Winnipeg, Dorothy worked as a secretary for Shell Oil for 25 years. She was a long time member of the Wildewood Club were she enjoyed golfing and curling with Ossie and their friends. Dorothy was a fun loving, caring mother and grandmother. One of Dorothys greatest pleasures was cooking for her family and friends. Cremation has already taken place. At Dorothys request there will not be a service. A reception to celebrate her life will be held for her friends and friends of her family, on Monday, December 9 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the dining room of the Wildewood Club at 761 North Drive. Special thanks to all the nurses and staff at Park Manor Personal Care Home for the warm and friendly care Dorothy received, and the nurses and staff of the Concordia Hospital for making her and the family comfortable during her time there. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the charity of your choice may be made on Dorothys behalf.
