A funeral service will be held at Messiah Lutheran Church, 400 Rouge Rd., Winnipeg on Wednesday, December 11 at 1:30 p.m. Interment will be held on Thursday, December 12 at 1:30 p.m. at Haga Cemetery, Arborg, MB. Arborg (MacKenzie) Funeral Home in care of arrangements.

Dear Dad, I miss you so much. Coming into the new year of 2026 soon, it's close to Christmas and today I remember you. I remember you when I am patient raising my children. I remember your hugs and kind encouraging words. I see you in my children and grandchildren! I just want to tell you that I hope you're watching your children and your grandchildren as they grow up and that you have a bird's-eye view. Yesterday, I was watching a show about Christmas, about Santa Claus, and about good men who make Christmas better. I thought about you and I cried like a little girl. It's been so long. I remember your unconditional love and faith in Jesus. I'm blessed. I even have a little man I call my own, and he reminds me of you every day because he's smart, kind, protective, and generous. And my daughters are strong women and good moms. Thank you for all your blessings.
