Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySHEILA IRENE BRUCE November 5, 1971 - December 12, 2002 Suddenly on December 12, 2002, Sheila Irene Bruce of Winnipeg, formerly of Fairford First Nation, passed away at the age of 31 years. Sheila leaves to mourn her loving companion, Steve Vesinger; her children, Kevin 9 years old, Devin 4 years old and Teanna 3 years old; her mother Mary Bruce; her father Glenn Bruce; sisters, Denise (Robert) Chase and Ida (John) Bruce; brother Michael (Eldean) Bruce; aunt, Bertha Sumner; uncles, Bert Sumner, David Bruce and Alec Bruce. Sheila was predeceased by her brother, Harold Bruce on June 22, 2002; a baby brother in infancy and her grandparents, Adolphus and Lily Sumner and Alec and Ida Bruce. Sheila was a loving mother, sister and daughter who loved to cook, laugh and joke around, and tend to her children. Sheila had a heart for everybody. She loved to read her Bible and her favourite hymn was "Amazing Grace". She will always be loved and remembered. A special thank you to the Fairford Chief and Council, community members, Anderson Family Funeral Home and all those who visited, offered their prayers and help, and those who provided food during our time of great loss. Meegweetch. A wake service will be held on Sunday, December 15, at 7:00 p.m. at the Salvation Army Weetamah Corps, 324 Logan Ave., Winnipeg, MB. A wake service will also be held on Monday, December 16, at 7:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 17, at 1:00 p.m. These services will be held at the Fairford House of Prayer, Fairford, MB, with Pastor Wilfred Bruce and Jim Anderson officiating.
