Date of Passing: Dec 17, 2002
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryTHERESA MARIE BLANCHE TIPPING It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Theresa Tipping, of Transcona on December 17, 2002. Theresa was predeceased by her parents Joseph and Marie Rose Turcotte; husband Cecil Tipping; eldest son Laurent Lamoreaux and nephew Paul Turcotte. Of her 15 brothers and sisters she is survived by her beloved sisters, Louise Mills and Irene Santavy and brother Frank (Elsie) Turcotte; children, Penny (Klaus) Kau, Leo (Pat) Lamoreaux, Lorraine (Bob) Taras, Roger (Carol) Lamoreaux, Gerald (Elaine) Lamoreaux, Nordette (Ron) Duczminski; many precious grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and special friend Norm Georgeson. Mom was born and raised in Winnipeg, spending all of her adult life living, working and raising her family in Transcona. Mom was devoted to her family and friends and loved to have everyone over so she could cook a wonderfully huge meal. Many wonderful evenings were spent listening to her brothers and friends playing instruments and singing till the wee hours. Mom was a life member and great supporter of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Transcona Legion, always baking, or helping wherever she could, for many years. She also particularly enjoyed a night out at Bingo with family and friends. Mom had a great sense of humour and loved to sit around the kitchen table and visit with friends and family and laugh and enjoy the company of her extended families. At Moms wishes cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Moms favourite charities, The Salvation Army or the Transcona Legions Ladies Auxiliary. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 19 at 6:00 p.m. at the Transcona Legion Club Rooms, 117 Regent Ave. East. To love a Mom and then to part, Is the greatest trial to the human heart. Years of striving, little of play, Loving, giving, the whole of the way. A cherished smile, a heart of gold, To the dearest Mother the world could hold. Happy memories, fond and true, From us who thought the world of you. Beautiful memories are treasures ever, Of happy days when we were together. With aching hearts we whisper low, God Bless you Mother, well miss you so. Father in Heaven hear our prayer, Guard our Mother with tender care. Be a good Shepherd, dont leave her alone, Love her as we loved her when she was here at home. The family wishes to thank the very professional doctors, nurses and medical staff at the Concordia Hospital. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
