JAN PHENIX BLAIR On Saturday, December 21, 2002, Jan Phenix Blair peacefully passed away at Thunder Bay Regional Hospital after a short illness. She leaves behind her loving husband Andrew Wilson and his family; her mother Anne Blair and her family; her stepfather Ray Blair, of Brandon; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Jan was predeceased by her father Mervin Phenix. Jan was born February 19, 1969 in Ladysmith, BC. She moved to Winnipeg when she was 18 months old. Upon graduation from Kelvin High School, she went to New Zealand for a year as an exchange student. There she met Andrew Wilson, whom she married on August 4, 1993, in Winnipeg. Jan graduated from the University of Manitoba with a degree in Occupational Therapy in 1995. The same year Jan and Andrew moved to Whitehorse where they enjoyed the outdoors and the love of many friends. In the fall of 2000 they moved to Thunder Bay where Jan worked at the St. Joseph Hospital. Jan was loved by all who met her and will be deeply missed by her family and friends. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, December 30 at Windsor Park United Church, corner of Autumnwood and Cottonwood. A reception will follow at the home of Reed and Arla Winstone, 46 Manring Cove. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the Manitoba Heart and Stroke Foundation, or your favourite charity.
