Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryROBERT "BOB" CHARLES MCELROY 1928 - 2002 It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the peaceful passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend, Bob McElroy, aged 74, on Monday, December 16, 2002, at the Morden Manor. Bob leaves to cherish his memory, his wife Verna; daughters, Gloria and husband Mel Johnston of Darlingford, Mavis and husband Greg Scharf of Portage La Prairie; sons, Darrell and wife Lori McElroy of Darlingford, Brian and wife Myra McElroy of Darlingford; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one sister Ina Young. He was predeceased by two brothers, Merv and Lloyd McElroy. A funeral service to celebrate his life will be held on Friday, December 20, 2:00 p.m. at St. Pauls United Church, Morden, Rev. Morris Vincent and Wayne Larstone officiating. Interment will follow at Darlingford Cemetery and a lunch will be served at the Darlingford Hall. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations in memory of Bob may be made to the Tabor Home Memorial Fund, 230 9th St. S.
