Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWASYLKA CHEREWAYKO 1910 - 2002 Peacefully on December 19, 2002 at Bethesda Place, Steinbach, MB, our mother, Baba, and great-great-grandmother, passed away at the age of 92 years with family by her side. She was predeceased by her husband Wasyl in 1973. Mom is survived by two sons, and five daughters, Matt (Delores) Sandul, John (Liz) Cherewayko, Mary (Peter) Muzyka, Helen (Stan) Waskul, Verna (Peter) Sokoliuk, Ann (Wayne) Armit and Florence (Peter) Turick; 19 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. Prayers will be held on Sunday, December 22 at 7:00 p.m. at Knysh Funeral Chapel, 1020 Main St. Funeral service will be held on Monday, December 23 at 9:00 a.m. also at the chapel. Rev. Fr. J. Melnyk officiating. Interment will follow in the Sirko Parish Cemetery. We the family, express our heartfelt thanks to the wonderful staff at Bethesda. We are also grateful to Dr. Kaethler for all the care he provided the past years. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Wasylkas memory to Bethesda Place, 399 Hospital St., Steinbach, MB.
