ETHEL PEARL SINGLETON (nee MUNROE) After a courageous battle with cancer, it is with deep regret that we announce the death of Ethel Pearl Singleton, on Friday, December 13, 2002, at the St. Boniface General Hospital at the age of 69 years. Ethel is survived by her son Doug, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her father Alex; mother Susan; and sisters, Helen and Lorraine. She enjoyed fishing, gardening and staying in close contact with family members from across Canada. A private family service was held in the Chapel of Memories in Wojciks Funeral Chapel, 2157 Portage Ave. at Sharp Boulevard, Winnipeg, with Rev. Neill Stitt officiating. A special thank you to the staff of the Oncology and Palliative Care Units at the St. Boniface Hospital for their caring ways. As an expression of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations in Ethels memory may be made to CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9.
