JACK ANTHONY POLANSKI It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of our beloved husband, father and friend, on December 27, 2002 at Concordia Hospital, at the age of 55 years. Born and raised in Grande Pointe, Jack continued to enjoy the country living with his loving wife Judy, son Ryan and daughter Kari. Up until the flood of 1997, Jack owned and operated the Grande Pointe Esso Gas Station and worked for his father there as a young adult. Playing music with his cousins provided Jack with an outlet to share his gift of life through his music. After many hardships over the past few years, Jack maintained a positive attitude and provided a well grounded environment for family and friends by never letting his illness get the best of him. Jack is survived by his loving wife Judy, son Ryan and daughter Kari. Jack also leaves to mourn his mother Veda (Keith), brothers and sisters, Carol Ward, Jim, Perry (Debbie), Allan McArthur (Elaine), Danny (Kelly), Peggy Town (Ted), Joyce Chudyk (Drew Brown) mother-in-law Rose; sisters-in-law, Valerie and Gail (Mario) numerous nieces and nephews. Jack was predeceased by his maternal mother Helen in 1959; father Fred in 1995; grandmother Lillian in 1979; grandfather John in 1919; brother-in-law Mitch in 1992. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home on December 31 at 10:30 a.m with Fr. Dado officiating. The lights are out In the mansion of clay, The curtains are drawn Fro the dwellers away. He silently slipped oer the threshold of night To make his abode In the city of light. VOYAGE FUNERAL HOME 220 Hespeler Ave. at Henderson Hwy. 668-3151
